•Washington Park Master Plan The parks department has approved the development of a master plan for the park. Wenk Associates (planners and landscape architects), Fehr and Peers (transportation planners) and RRC Associates (survey research) have been chosen to develop the master plan with input from stakeholders, community and neighbors of the park.

•You may have been asked to complete a survey while in the park and this gathering of information will continue for some time.

•It is expected the Master Plan will take up to a year to complete.

•The first Public Meeting on the Master plan was November 17, 2009

•The second Public Meeting was April 20, 2010, 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Denver Parks and Recreation has initiated a comprehensive year-long planning process for Washington Park. The project’s purpose is to determine a park vision that maintains the park’s historical integrity, determines priorities for park rehabilitation and improvements, as well as provides park management strategies. An extensive public process is planned as an integral part of this project. You are invited to attend the second public meeting for this planning process which is designed to:
§ Review the park assessment

•Present concepts that address specific park issues
§ Gain important feedback from meeting participants
